REGISTRATION: Registration will take place at the ice rink on Thursday 6 May 2010 18:00-19:00 in the function room at the ice rink. All additional ice time fees will have to be settled at registration. Coaches to make sure that skaters fill in the patch form available at the CD player, failure could lead to disqualification from the event.

All skaters are invited to a Spur Meal on Friday 7th May at 18:00, and a voucher will be included in your pack at registration to present to the waitron as payment. A group area will be designated for the skaters which will be directed by the Spur staff upon arrival. Coaches and parents are welcome to join at their own expenses, but the skaters must sit together in the designated area for billing purposes – the parents to arrange their own seating with the waitron.

Official practice times will be on Friday morning 7th May 06:00-12:00 – for visiting Provinces only:
06:00-07:30 KZN Group 1 ( 12 skaters)
07:30-07:45 Resurface
07:45-09:15 KZN Group 2 (11 skaters)
09:15-09:30 Resurface
09:30-11:00 Central Gauteng (19 skaters)
11:00-11:15 Resurface
11:15-12:30 Gauteng North (10 skaters)
There is sufficient practice time allocated for 1 music run through for both short and long where applicable.

                                                            No late entries will be accepted.

 QUALIFICATION:                   As at closing date.

PLEASE NOTE:      Skaters are encouraged to compete at Provincial and Inter-Provincial level in the National stream sections if they meet the minimum requirements.

Individual entry forms are enclosed.

Can all Provinces please co-ordinate entries onto the enclosed single Provincial entry form, and verify qualifications, eligibility and dates of birth.

Hotel: Reservations at the City Lodge GrandWest for the special rate of R731.00 per room per night and 1% tourism levy per day.  Breakfast is optional extra – R90.00. Reservations must be made by contacting Minette La Grange at the hotel(021) 5353611 or e-mail reservations on clgw.resv@citylodge.co.za. 30 Rooms have been reserved for your convenience.

Season tickets can be purchased at the main cash office on arrival:  R70.00 for 3 entries or R30.00 per session. Children under 12 R10.00 per session. Junior Blades & Black Panther Club members under 18 also R10 per session.

 

Unofficial Practice Ice:       Coaches to please make sure that skater’s fill in the patch sheet next to

                                      the CD player.  Skaters will be charged for these patches at registration.

                                      Skaters will not be able to register unless these fees are paid.

                                      Failure to record, will result in the skater being disqualified from the event.

 

Times Available:              Tue,  19th May at 07:00 – 09:00 – Cost per person – R20.00
                                       Tue,  19th May at 13:00 – 14:00 – Cost per person – R30.00 (Prime time)
                                       Wed, 20th May at 13:00 – 14:00 – Cost per person – R30.00 (Prime time)
                                       Thu,  21st May at 07:00 – 09:00 – Cost per person – R20.00
                                       Thu,  21st May at 13:00 – 14:00  - Cost per person – R30.00 (Prime Time)

Prime time:                       Senior skaters preferably (Senior, Junior & Novice)

Public Session:                   10:00 – 12:30 this session is normally very quiet – but no guarantees R23.00 per skater to be paid at the Cash office.
